After the passing away of her mother and father, Anita Kumar now lives along with her paternal uncle, Kumar; his spouse, Seema; and Seema's brother, Vikram. The household's enterprise is taken over by Kumar, who makes use of some cash to purchase an outdated mansion deep within the countryside of Rana.
