A socially awkward band geek, Steven Turano, is planning on killing himself. Nevertheless, when Clarence, the brand new quirky child at school, befriends him, Steven's plans are sidetracked and he reaches past his consolation zone forming stronger relationships together with his father, buddies and academics. The boys type an inseparable bond as Clarence finds inventive methods to tug Steven out of his despair.
