Whereas delivering meals in a forest space in Andhra Pradesh, impoverished Narasimha is held in opposition to his will by a band of Naxalites led by Velu, and compelled to affix them. He's anxious to gather his dues and return house to his spouse, Uma; daughter, Chinna; and son, Mohan, however Velu retains on placing it off. Narasimha will get to know and sympathize with members of this band, and befriends Lakshmi, who was gang-raped by a number of policemen. He's then requested to show his loyalty by killing an informant/plainclothes police inspector - which he does - and even accompanies the band on an assault on a faculty, ensuing within the dying of some kids. Traumatized after this incident, he decides to flee - and it's this choice that won't solely estrange him from his household but in addition pressure him to be on the run from the band in addition to the police.
