In 1965, Robert Kennedy was the primary man to summit Mount Kennedy within the Yukon Territory, named in honor of his late brother. Main that expedition was Jim Whitaker, the primary American to summit Everest and authentic fulltime worker of REI. 50 years later, Jim’s sons Bob and Leif, together with Christopher Kennedy, determine to climb the mountain once more in honor of their fathers’ joint accomplishment and distinctive friendship. Seattle-based filmmaker Eric Becker’s touching documentary combines archival footage—together with a number of Kennedy house films—with interviews from Jim himself and those that them greatest as we observe three sons and the journey actually of their fathers’ footsteps.
