Pazhani has two kids — Chandiran and Meena. Meena is married. Chandiran loves Pankajam. His father and grandmother need him to marry a relative woman, Thangam, who could be very useful to the household. However Chandiran marries Pankajam defying them. Though introduced in for comedian reduction, the ever-loveable J. P. Chandrababu and his milkman character grew to become the true irresistible pull of this household melodrama. Director A. Bhimsingh—a uncommon expertise to have successes in each South Indian and Hindi cinemas—masterfully blends lightness and pathos.
