The story is predicated on the lifetime of Pothuluri Veerabrahmam (N. T. Rama Rao), a widely known saint and astrologer of the seventeenth century. A short lifetime of Gautama Buddha, Ramanuja, Adi Shankara and Vemana (all essayed by NTR) are proven originally of the movie.
