Siddhartho Chowdhury, an excellent younger medical pupil, is compelled to depart his research after his father's sudden demise. He's compelled to navigate the excessive unemployment price and the communist socio-political local weather of Sixties Calcutta in quest of a job. He lives in a flat together with his youthful, employed sister, revolutionary brother and widowed mom. The pressure of the state of affairs in the end causes him to hallucinate.
