The Black Prince follows the story of the final Sikh Maharaja — the son of the highly effective ruler Ranjit Singh — who was positioned on the throne on the age of 5, after the demise of his father. In 1849, the younger prince was faraway from the throne and ultimately despatched off to England. His makes an attempt to return to India and reclaim his kingdom had been subsequently thwarted by the British.
