Depressed and reeling from the current demise of his spouse, Tom has constructed up fairly a playing debt. He goes to stick with his rich Aunt Florence in hopes that she's going to write him into her will. When a nasty creditor makes it clear that Tom is out of time, he devises a plan with Elodie, the undertaker's daughter, to rob the graves of the wealthy townspeople buried within the cemetery throughout the street. After plundering the graves, Tom arrives again at Florence's home and occasions take a darkish flip. Tom begins listening to and seeing unusual issues that appear to coincide with the deaths of the individuals he robbed. Much more disconcerting... he seems to be the one one sensing the occurrences. One query lingers: Is Tom's conscience enjoying a trick on him... or is he actually being haunted by these he stole from?
