The second coming of Christ is probably the most climactic occasion of all of the prophecies within the Bible and making ready for this occasion is the keynote of the scriptures, however "our God is a consuming fireplace." (Heb 12:29) Within the presence of God the prophets fell upon their faces exclaiming "the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein" and "who might abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth?" (Heb. 12:29, Mal 3:2) The prophet Isaiah requested "Who amongst us shall dwell with the devouring fireplace? who amongst us shall dwell with eternal burnings?" (Isa 33:14) After which Isaiah solutions the query and says "he that walketh righteously."
