India, 1825: the nation lives in mortal worry of cult members often called the “Deceivers." They commit theft and ritualistic homicide. Appalled by their actions, an English army man, Captain William Savage, conceives a hazardous plot to cease them. In disguise, he plans to himself turn into a “Deceiver” and infiltrate their numbers.
