Brash and opinionated, Christine Choy is a documentarian, cinematographer, professor, and quintessential New Yorker whose movies and instructing have influenced a technology of artists. In 1989 she began to movie the leaders of the Tiananmen Sq. pro-democracy protests who escaped to political exile following the June 4 bloodbath. Although Choy by no means completed that venture, she now travels with the outdated footage to Taiwan, Maryland, and Paris as a way to share it with the dissidents who've by no means been in a position to return house.
