When ten-year-old Lewis is abruptly orphaned, he's despatched to reside along with his Uncle Jonathan in a creaky (and creepy) previous mansion with a mysterious ticking noise that emanates from the partitions. Upon discovering that his uncle is a warlock, Lewis begins studying magic, however when he rebelliously resurrects an evil warlock he should discover the key of the home and save the world from destruction.
