Seyi, a 24-year-old Nigerian-American, works on Wall Road. Determined to succeed due to his outsider status-due to class and race-he commits a criminal offense, insider buying and selling, which brings his total world crashing down on him. Seyi's troubled circumstances drive him lastly to confront his tumultuous relationship together with his ailing father, his romantic relationship together with his privileged white girlfriend, and his racial and immigrant backgrounds-with nothing much less at stake for him than his soul.
