In 1969 Jett, a younger lady of combined Caucasian and Indigenous descent, struggles to slot in along with her friends on the reservation. After summoning the bushes to protect her from her bullies she realizes her particular reference to the encompassing nature. With the assistance of a tribal Watchman she embarks on a religious journey to find her future.
