Thirudi (transl. Girl thief) is a 2006 Tamil language romance movie directed by Okay. Shankar. The movie stars newcomers Kathir and Dhanya Mary Varghese, with Sundar, Marina, Rajeev, Ponmaran, Gunasekhar, Kuyili, Vadivukkarasi, and Sempuli Jagan taking part in supporting roles. The movie was produced by Mahadevan Ganesh and Usha Venkatramani. It had music by Bharani, cinematography by D. Shankar, and enhancing by S. Satish. The movie launched on 22 December 2006.
