Syed Mīr Nisār Alī, higher generally known as Titumir, was a Bengali freedom fighter who developed a strand of Muslim nationalism coupled with agrarian and political consciousness. He's famed for having constructed a big bamboo fort to withstand the British, which handed onto Bengali folks legend. Titumir died on 19 November 1831 at Narikelbaria.
