The movie stars Rajkumar, Jayamala, R. Sampath, Balakrishna and Vajramuni. Rajkumar performs 3 totally different roles within the film- A police inspector Vijay, a hippie vagabond Shekhar, Servant Sheshagiri and the principle protagonist Sridhar. The film was the debut film of Tamil director C. V. Rajendran in Kannada. The movie is split into 3 tales – Thrimurthy, Undoo Hoda Kondoo Hoda and Aalaagaballava Arasaagaballa. The film was Parvathamma's first manufacturing enterprise beneath Poornima Enterprises banner. It was additionally her maiden distribution enterprise.
