What do you do while you love music, and music would not love you again? It is a query that haunts Walt (Jim Tavaré), the proprietor of Important Music, an indie report retailer within the coronary heart of Silver Lake. Walt's all too conscious of how his punk-rock glory days are quick fading within the rear-view - whilst he can not help recounting struggle tales to his a lot youthful staff: Lysette (Kate Dalton), who has to take care of a parade of consumers satisfied she's the Report Retailer Woman of their desires; Chris (Derek James Elstro), the lead singer of Troubled Meats, a band poised for takeoff, and possibly not simply in Chris' thoughts; and well-meaning music nut Duane (Adam Weber), who's a bit too fluent in Rock Critic for his personal good. With a love of all forms of music evident in each shot, WARMED-OVER KRAUTROCK is a comedy for anybody who's ever spent an excessive amount of time obsessing over playlists - and for anybody who's ever been pushed loopy by that sort of individual, too.
