Christmas designer Leslie Main (Brely Evans) is the largest fan of Christmas ever. She is sort of a tidal wave of Yuletide cheer. Her largest job yearly is adorning the foyer of the famed Chesterton Lodge. As she is on a ladder adorning the tree, she falls into the arms of Edmund James (Andra Fuller) - the grandson of the proprietor JJ James. Edmund is all enterprise and thinks Christmas is superficial and frivolous.
